Get to know us:

People often ask us why the youth camp is named “Pot O’ Gold”. When the property was purchased, the name was the Pot O Gold but it had a terrible reputation because of the activities that took place here (it was a worldly dude ranch). Much thought was given to changing the name but it was not to be the Lords will.

Dr. Bonam’s wife, Viola, was reading her bible one day and came across the verse in Hebrews 9:4 that speaks of the golden pot of manna contained in the ark of the covenant. It was Mrs. Bonam that first suggested keeping the old name as it was her prayer that God would use the “Pot O Gold Ranch” to give to young people the precious manna of his word.
